Outfy’s latest feature enhancement – the all powerful, multiple autopilot! It lets you create multiple “tasks” that you can run simultaneously on your Outfy account for promoting your products on different social media channels. Still wondering what all can be achieved, and how? Let me tell you the story of ABC Fashion House here, and how it scaled new heights in sales by just utilising Outfy’s multiple Autopilot feature to the maximum advantage.
Hi! I am Meenal from ABC Fashion House. I have an online store and I sell apparels, accessories, shoes and jewellery. My online store ABC Fashion House is 2yrs old, but my brand online is not yet known very well as I started promoting my brand on the social media just about 3 months back. I have 200+ friends on Facebook, but I am a newbie on twitter with a limited follower base. After registering with Outfy, I also signed up for new accounts on product discovery networks like Wanelo / Weheartit/ Fancy / Keep, etc.
How did my store reach this peak in traffic and sales?
The name of the game is promotion. The more often you promote your products, the greater is the traffic pulled to your online store. Its a direct linkage. The smarter you are in targeting your potential customers, the higher is the return you get from your marketing activity. Let me show you how I have done it, and you can write your own path accordingly.
My Marketing Strategy
- I have apparels and shoes for both men and women, I have accessories and jewellery only for females
- My target age group:
- Men – Aged 25 years to 60+ years
- Women – Aged 18yrs to 70+ years
- I want to create a brand name by concentrating on specific categories for every 2 weeks
- Ultimate result to be achieved – Increased traffic and get BIG SALES
Task 1 – Promote apparels for initial 2 weeks in March on my Facebook Page
As I have a good number of friends there, and my target audience base is wide, I choose “latest” product promotions from 07:00 A.M. to 23:59 P.M. – 5 times in a day so that both males and females, of all age groups get covered. As I have been promoting on Facebook for sometime, I set the definition of “latest” as 1 month
Task 2 – Promote apparels for initial 2 weeks in March on my Twitter account
As I have a limited number of followers there, and my target audience base is wide, I choose “latest” product promotions from 09:00A.M. to 20:00 P.M. – 10 times in a day so that both males and females get covered. As tweets keep moving very fast, I need to promote more to get a view. As I have started promoting on Twitter only recently, I set the definition of “latest” as 3 months
Task 3 – Promote men shoes for initial 2 weeks in March on my product discovery networks like Wanelo / Weheartit / Keep / Fancy
As I have just started promoting my products on these channels, and men’s shoes don’t change much in a short time period, I choose “latest & random” product promotions from 20:00P.M. to 23:59 P.M. – 4 times in a day so that males browsing the site to purchase shoes after office hours can be covered
Task 4 – Promote women shoes for initial 2 weeks in March on my product discovery networks like Wanelo / Weheartit / Keep / Fancy
As I have just started promoting my products on these channels, but women shoes change styles very rapidly, I choose “latest” product promotions from 14:00P.M. to 22:00 P.M. – 8 times, so that all categories of females (students / housewives / working women) browsing the site to purchase shoes during their convenient time can be covered
Task 5 – Promote women shoes for initial 2 weeks in March on my product discovery networks like Wanelo / Weheartit / Keep / Fancy
As I have just started promoting my products on these channels, but women shoes change styles very rapidly, I choose “latest” product promotions from 08:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. – 2 times so that females (students /working women) browsing the site on their way to work / office, can “discover” my products and purchase shoes
Task 6 – 9 Promote men and women apparels and shoes for initial 2 weeks in March on my Pinterest, only weekdays
I map all my product categories to the relevant Pinterest boards. Then, I choose the categories to be promoted as a separate task, so that I promote my 4 boards as 4 separate tasks – men apparels / female apparels / men shoes / female shoes. I choose time as 5:00 P.M. to 23:00 P.M., as only weekdays, “latest and random” products, 2-3 times per task
Task 10 – 13 Promote men and women apparels and shoes for initial 2 weeks in March on my Pinterest, only weekends
I map all my product categories to the relevant Pinterest boards. Then, I choose the categories to be promoted as a separate task, so that I promote my 4 boards as 4 separate tasks – men apparels / female apparels / men shoes / female shoes. I choose time as 11:00 A.M. to 23:00 P.M., as specific settings only for weekends, “latest and random” products, 4-6 times per task
Task 14 – Promote men and women apparels and shoes for initial 2 weeks in March on my Instagram, only morning hours
I choose all the relevant categories and choose morning time, 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M., for “latest” products, 2 times
Task 15 – Promote men and women apparels and shoes for initial 2 weeks in March on my Instagram, only evening hours
I choose all the relevant categories and choose evening time, 16:00 P.M. to 19:00 P.M., for “latest” products, 2 times
End Result achieved – I set these settings once on my Outfy account, and then it promoted my products on ALL the networks, while I was busy handling the extra traffic and dispatching sales made. This really helped me to create a name for my brand on the social media, without taking too much of my time, but without making the posts appear robotic or spam the audience.
Last 2 weeks of March, I will be setting for accessories and jewellery on all the networks, so that I can get a penetration even in that market alongside I will get time to replenish my apparel / shoe stock.
